Data and purposes
The waitlist stores your email address, signup date and the version of the notice presented. We use this information to record your request and send confirmation and updates specifically about the Yapper launch. Joining does not create an account, purchase or subscription. The form does not collect voice recordings or dictated text.
Legal basis and choice
Launch communications are based on your consent (GDPR Article 6(1)(a)), expressed by submitting the form after reading its notice. Joining is optional: without your email we cannot notify you, but you can still browse the website. We do not add you to general newsletters or sell your data.
Withdrawal and deletion
Withdraw consent and request deletion at any time by emailing privacy@getmello.it or replying to the signup confirmation. Include your subscribed address and “Yapper waitlist”. Withdrawal does not affect the lawfulness of earlier processing. You do not need an account to exercise your rights.
Retention
We retain waitlist data for no more than 12 months after signup, or until earlier withdrawal. Subscribers are not automatically moved to other lists. Support correspondence is retained as needed to resolve the request and normally for no longer than 12 months after closure. Any records necessary for legal obligations or disputes are limited to what is needed and kept separate from promotional communications.
Browsing and security
Cloudflare processes technical data needed to deliver and protect the website, including IP addresses, timestamps, requested URLs and browser information. The application uses pseudonymous identifiers for abuse prevention and security events. This is based on our legitimate interest in service security (GDPR Article 6(1)(f)). We do not profile visitors or make automated decisions with legal effects.
Providers and international transfers
We use Cloudflare for hosting and security, Supabase for the database, and Resend for email delivery and delivery events. Access is limited to the controller and providers needed for the service. Providers may process data outside the European Economic Area; transfers require applicable safeguards such as adequacy decisions or standard contractual clauses. Their privacy notices and processing agreements are available on their websites.
Your rights
You may request access, correction, deletion, restriction and portability where applicable, and object to processing based on legitimate interests. Contact the controller; we normally respond within one month, subject to lawful extensions. You may complain to the Italian Garante (www.garanteprivacy.it) or the competent supervisory authority in your country.
Cookies and changes
Our Cookie policy describes browser storage. This notice covers the waitlist phase. Accounts, purchases or new purposes will be accompanied by the relevant information before activation; waitlist consent does not automatically authorize new processing.
