Yapper sale and use terms
Version dated 18 September 2026 · Terms for buying and using Yapper, and terms for this website.
Operator
Sabatino Matteo Lombari, P.IVA IT04911550616, Via Luigi Baia 52, 81043 Capua (CE), Italia. Email: privacy@itsyapper.com.
What you buy
Your purchase gives you a personal licence to use Yapper. The licence does not expire: versions you have downloaded stay yours and keep working even if you never renew anything. You can keep Yapper activated on up to two computers, and you can free a slot by deactivating one from your account. The licence is personal: do not resell it, share it, or publish your activation code.
Price, payment and receipt
The price shown at purchase is the final price, taxes included. Payment is handled by Stripe; card details never pass through our systems. Stripe sends the receipt to the email address used to pay.
Delivery
Delivery is immediate and digital. Straight after payment your account shows the download and the way to generate your activation licence. Nothing physical is shipped.
Right of withdrawal and waiving it
As a consumer you normally have 14 days to withdraw from an online purchase. For digital content delivered immediately, the law provides that this right ends if you consent to receiving it right away and acknowledge that you therefore lose it. At payment you are asked to tick exactly that: you request immediate delivery and accept losing the right of withdrawal. Without that tick you cannot complete the purchase. If you paid but never downloaded or activated the software, write to us and we will consider a refund.
Updates
The purchase includes 12 months of updates. When they end the software keeps working with the versions your licence already covers; you simply stop receiving new ones. You can renew whenever you want, once or with a yearly renewal you can cancel from your account. Cancelling a renewal does not revoke your licence and does not stop updates you already paid for.
How the software works
Yapper transcribes and processes speech on your own computer. Speech recognition and local models can be wrong: always read the result before using it, especially numbers, names and amounts. Some features require downloading additional components, whose size is shown before the download. Requirements and features may change in later versions.
Permitted use
Do not decompile, modify or circumvent the licence checks, except where the law expressly allows it. Do not use the website for spam, abusive automated signups, unauthorized access or unlawful activity. We may throttle abusive requests to protect the service and deactivate a licence used in a manifestly fraudulent way. Trademarks, text and materials belong to the operator or their respective owners; uses permitted by law remain available. Third-party components are listed in the notices shipped with the software, with their licences.
Waitlist and communications
If you join the waitlist, joining is free, is not an order and grants no licence. Use an email address you control and do not subscribe other people without authorization. Leave the list at any time by contacting the operator.
Liability and mandatory rights
We take reasonable measures to keep the service working and the information accurate, but interruptions and errors can happen. Nothing here excludes or limits liability that cannot be excluded by law, including for wilful misconduct or gross negligence, nor consumers’ mandatory rights, including the legal guarantee of conformity.
Law, disputes and changes to these terms
Italian law applies, without prejudice to the mandatory rights granted by the law of the consumer’s country of residence. For consumers, the court designated by the applicable rules remains competent. For problems or complaints contact the operator at the address above. Changes are published with a new date and apply to later purchases.
